The Wire, Rescue Me, 30 Rock, Always Sunny..., Jersey Shore (or whatever other reality show that's popular at the moment).

I'll add a music section and gadget/tech section if I could remember more.

P.S. LOVE this thread, I thought I was the only one noticing Opie's hip and with it attitude towards pop culture. I honestly can't wait for Opie to tell me what's cool and hip so I could jump on the bandwagon. I'm ALL IN on the thread!
